It's nice to finally be able to put a voice to a name Mr Stone. I'm your first Youtube subscriber too...yahoo :DI was playing the old second ed with the family today. Only just introduced them to it a few weeks ago and their loving it.Cool little review of the minis, I'm looking forward to seeing how you paint them up.Cheers :)
To be honest, hearing my own voice is pretty damn bizarre. Thanks for the sub too. I think I'll do some more review type stuff and then maybe attempt the painting and filming thing.I've got 2nd edition but never played it. Only had two games of 4th though so far. I got hooked after playing the digital edition of 4th.
Hey, Thanks for the review - kinda brings back good memories:I still have polish edition of the game (now like 22 years old?) - sadly there was no models, all characters were printed on thick card.Still good to know game is worthy investment if I EVER have any spare time for board games. And yeah, good to year ya ;-)Now paint that mutie!
I think I saw some old Polish editions being shown on either Talisman Island or the FFG forums. All black and white and different art work.Revised 4th edition is really nice. As much as I get taken in by nostalgia for 2nd edition I think 4th is the best looking.
Thanks for the video! FFG release some surprisingly good models within their boxed games - I've succumbed to Imperial Assault recently. I remember playing Talisman at primary school back in the mid 80s; it was part of a chain of events that lead to my lead mountain.I would love to see you do painting tutorial videos!
Thankfully I'm not a big enough Star Wars fan to have gotten sucked into the madness of Imperial Assault (or the X-Wing one). I've seen some good stuff being posted over on LAF though. I was trying to figure out how best to position my camera for painting earlier. Easier said than done. Might have it almost sorted so at least it's a step in the right direction.
